Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has some fantastic aspects including amazing service and a great pool, but the rooms could use updating with dated decor and limited bed options.
The hotel had some issues with the rooms being small, uncomfortable, and in need of maintenance, but the service was excellent with great amenities and a convenient location. The dining options were satisfactory, and overall, the stay was pleasant but could be improved in some areas.
The hotel is conveniently located near Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville, offering a free shuttle service every half hour, making it ideal for our trip purposes. The rooms had some issues upon check-in but eventually were sorted out, featuring two double beds. The service was excellent, especially the shuttle drivers and housekeeping staff. The dining options were decent but could use some variety. Overall, a good stay with a few minor glitches.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms, while large enough to have many amenities, were very uncomfortable, and the service was a hit or miss with some very friendly encounters and others completely unhelpful and arrogant. The location was terrific with great views, but the dining experience left a lot to be desired. Overall, it had its ups and downs.
The hotel's rooms on the special secure floor accessed with key card were in need of modernization, particularly the outdated bathroom. It was a bit cold when trying to go to sleep. However, the service, while upbeat and peppy, was unwilling to go beyond the basics. The location, though kept clean and nice with a great view, had issues with ants. The dining experience, while great and self-service, had subpar food for the cost. The facilities were average.
The hotel had excellent service, a fantastic pool, and the added bonus of a shuttle service. On the downside, the room had an odd smell and wasn't as clean as expected.
The hotel had some positives like a welcoming service and convenient location, but the outdated rooms and lack of clear instructions were disappointing.
The hotel is in a convenient location, although a bit far from downtown, which is a downside. The rooms were decent in size, but lacking a refrigerator or microwave unless requested. The service was mixed, with some staff being friendly while others seemed a bit clueless. The dining was average, with limited options for breakfast. Overall, a reasonable stay for the price paid.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great, close to Fisk and Tennessee State Universities, and the shuttle service was convenient, but the area around the hotel wasn't the safest for walking. The rooms were small for four people and in need of updates, but the hot breakfast was one of the best I've had in a long time. The service was pleasant and efficient, but the dining pricing was a bit high for what was offered.
The hotel was pretty good overall. The rooms, though old and rusty, felt and smelled fresher despite the annoying noise like a motorboat propeller at 1:00 am. The service was very welcoming, especially with helpful suggestions on downtown visits. The location, a short Uber drive from downtown, was perfect for our city exploration. The dining experience was average with a regular complimentary breakfast.
